Where does the race start? Where does it end?

The event will start and end at Burns & McDonnell, 9400 Ward Parkway, Kansas City, MO 64114.

Where does the course go?

Both races will be run on Ward Parkway, with the half marathon course going up to and around Loose Park. Course maps can be found on the course page.

What if it rains?

We will run in the rain, cold or snow. However, if it is unsafe to run/walk, the race director reserves the right to cancel the race.

What if I am unable to attend? Can I get a refund?

There will be no refunds of registration fees for the race for any reason.

What if my name is spelled wrong, my age is wrong, etc.?

Email brad@rocktheparkway.com to make the necessary changes to your registration.

I registered but can’t participate; can I still pick up my t-shirt?

Yes. Please stop by and pick up your bib and race shirt at packet pickup. Shirts will NOT be mailed.

I won’t be able to participate. May I transfer my registration to next year or give it to a friend?

We do not allow deferral of registrations to next year and there are no refunds. You can transfer your registration to someone else by following the instructions HERE.

Can a friend or family member pick up my packet?

Yes

Are participants allowed to push strollers in the race?

No, the streets are narrow for much of the early part of the race and the congestion is too great for participants to safely push a stroller.
